WHO WE ARE

THRIVE is a community of people who desire to practice hospitality by connecting newly arrived immigrants and refugees, via e-crowdsourcing, with neighbors in the Pittsburgh community.

THRIVE's Steering Committee

THRIVE is ready to accept your donations of new household goods, hygiene kits, Welcome Blankets and Welcome Bags in its new storage area! We also welcome volunteers who wish to donate an hour or two a month to help sort deliveries, set up kitchens in long stay hotel rooms, set up apartments, transport a refugee to work, or create Wish Lists for new refugee arrivals! We deliver!

THRIVE delivers all donations personally to AJAPO, our partner refugee resettlement agency. Your monetary and in-kind donations of new household items, hygiene kits, Welcome Bags and Welcome Blankets go directly to each specific family from their Wish List. When a family arrives at the airport and again at their new apartment, they are greeted by many of the comforts of home!
