THRIVE is a community of people who desire to practice hospitality by connecting refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants, via e-crowdsourcing, with welcoming neighbors in the Pittsburgh community.

THRIVE's Steering Committee (some pictured here with volunteers) strives to assess and meet the changing needs of refugee and immigrant population in Pittsburgh. We welcome volunteers who wish to donate a few hours to shop, sort Wish List items, deliver household goods or furniture, volunteer for a Supper Club, transport a refugee to work or to the doctor, help with legal, financial, or tax matters, tutor English, and more! We deliver
Wish Lists!
THRIVE delivers all in-kind donations personally to our clients, and we are in need of volunteers to deliver their Wish Lists in a timely manner. If you are available Tuesday, Wednesday. Thursday or Saturday mornings, we provide furniture, children's or baby items, which our volunteers deliver to homes. We also have a need for volunteers to drive individuals to medical appointments. THRIVE DRIVE
Come alongside and sponsor a refugee, asylum seeker or immigrant family in Pittsburgh which is struggling to succeed in a time of uncertainty and insecurity in the U.S.
A THRIVE Drive sponsor can be an individual, a family, a group of friends, a work, school, place of worship or organization, and provides personal hygiene, household cleaning and non-perishable staples to a family with a fixed or limited income for a length of time of your choosing.
